Privacy Policy

Legal information for Pieceful in English (Australia).

1. Summary

Pieceful works offline. The current version requires no account, connects to no developer-operated server and contains no analytics, tracking, advertising, attribution or third-party crash-reporting SDK. We do not sell personal information.

2. Information Processed Locally

The App processes on your device photos you select or capture, cropped puzzle images, progress, moves, elapsed time, completed levels, daily records, settings, sound and vibration preferences and local purchase flags. Current gameplay data is not transmitted to us.

3. Photo and Camera Access

Photo access is used only when you select an image; camera access only when you choose to take one. You can deny or revoke access in iOS Settings and continue using built-in and daily puzzles. Pieceful does not upload photos.

4. Storage and Deletion

Local information remains until changed, reset or the App is deleted. Deleting the App normally removes its sandbox. Apple-controlled device or iCloud backups may retain data under your settings and Apple’s policies; we cannot access or delete those backups.

5. Purchases, Ads and Analytics

If App Store purchases are enabled, Apple processes payment and account information; we may receive transaction status but not complete card details. Current purchase and advertising features are placeholders. Before adding production advertising, analytics or tracking, we will update this Policy, App Store disclosures and any required consent.

6. Feedback

Selecting “Feedback” opens an external email app. If you send a message, your email address, content, attachments and metadata are handled by your provider and received by us for support.

7. Children and Security

We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through developer-operated services. Parents or guardians should supervise photo and camera use. We use iOS sandboxing and reasonable security practices, but no system is completely secure.

8. Access, Correction and Complaints

Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles apply, you may request access to or correction of personal information we hold and make a privacy complaint. Current gameplay data is held only on your device, so manage permissions or delete the App for local data. Contact us about support correspondence. We will respond within a reasonable period.

9. Overseas Disclosure and Changes

The current App does not disclose gameplay data overseas. Email may be processed in countries used by your provider. We will update this Policy and provide notice where required before material new collection.
