Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern Pieceful (the “App”), supplied by Pieceful (“we”, “us” or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to them.

1. App and Licence

Pieceful is an offline jigsaw game with built-in levels, daily puzzles and puzzles created from photos you select or capture. We grant a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence for lawful, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and App Store rules.

You must not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass security, introduce malicious code, exploit bugs or infringe law or third-party rights, except where law permits.

2. Your Photos and Local Data

You retain rights in your photos and confirm you may use them. The current version processes them on your device and does not upload them to our servers. Progress and preferences are stored locally. We do not promise cloud backup or recovery. Keep originals and backups; deleting the App may permanently delete local puzzles and progress.

3. Content and Daily Puzzles

Daily puzzles may unlock according to the device date. Features may vary by version, device, region or store availability. We may reasonably modify, add, suspend or remove content or features.

4. Purchases and Advertising

If in-app purchases or “Remove Ads” are offered in a production release, Apple handles billing, refunds, restoration and payment processing under App Store terms. Current advertising and purchase functions are development placeholders only. Future integrations will be disclosed before release.

5. Intellectual Property and Conduct

The App, design, built-in artwork and branding belong to us or our licensors. You must not interfere with the App, remove notices, use unauthorised automation or harm others.

6. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services may come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights. Subject to those rights, the App is provided as available, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device or recovery of local data.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, progress, profits or goodwill. Where liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, it is limited as permitted by law. We do not limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.

8. Termination, Changes and Law

You may stop using the App at any time. The licence ends if you materially breach these Terms. We may update them for product, legal or operational changes and provide notice where required. Mandatory local protections apply; otherwise the governing law and venue are the laws and competent courts applicable at the operator’s principal place of business.
