Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Pieceful (the “App”), provided by Pieceful (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to them.

1. App and Licence

Pieceful is an offline jigsaw game offering built-in levels, daily puzzles, and puzzles made from photos you select or capture. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence for lawful, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and App Store rules.

You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass security, introduce malicious code, exploit bugs, or use the App to violate law or third-party rights, except where law expressly permits.

2. Your Photos and Progress

You retain rights in your photos and confirm you may use them. The current App processes photos locally and does not upload them to our servers. Progress and preferences are stored locally; we do not promise cloud backup, synchronization, or recovery. Keep originals and backups. Deleting the App may permanently delete local puzzles and progress.

3. Content

Daily puzzles may unlock according to the device date. Features may differ by version, device, region, language, or store availability. We may reasonably modify, add, suspend, or remove content and features.

4. Purchases and Advertising

If paid features or “Remove Ads” are offered in a production release, Apple handles billing, refunds, restoration, and payment processing under App Store terms. Current advertising and purchase functions are development placeholders only. Future integrations will be disclosed before release.

5. Intellectual Property and Conduct

The software, design, built-in artwork, branding, and supplied content belong to us or our licensors. Do not interfere with the App, use unauthorized automation, remove notices, or harm others.

6. Consumer Rights and Disclaimer

The App is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, or recovery of local data. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable federal or provincial consumer-protection law.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or loss of data, progress, profits, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for the App in the preceding 12 months, or CAD $15 if nothing was paid, unless law requires otherwise.

8. Termination, Changes, and Law

You may stop using the App at any time. The licence ends for material breach. We may update these Terms and provide notice where required. Mandatory protections in your province or territory apply; otherwise these Terms are governed by the laws and competent courts applicable at the operator’s principal place of business.
