PIECEFUL · LEGAL

Privacy Policy

Legal information for Pieceful in English (United Kingdom).

Effective date: 21 June 2026

1. Summary

Pieceful is designed to work offline. The current version requires no account, connects to no developer-operated server and includes no analytics, tracking, advertising, attribution or third-party crash-reporting SDK. We do not sell personal data or use it for behavioural advertising.

2. Local Information

The App processes on your device: photos you select or capture; cropped puzzle images; progress, moves, time, completed levels and daily records; settings, sound and vibration preferences; and local purchase flags. This information remains in the App sandbox and is not sent to us in the current version.

3. Permissions

Photo-library access is used only when you select a photo. Camera access is used only when you choose to take one. You may deny or revoke access in iOS Settings and continue using built-in and daily puzzles. Pieceful does not upload photos.

4. Retention and Deletion

Local data remains until changed, reset or the App is deleted. Deleting the App normally removes its sandbox. Apple-controlled device or iCloud backups may retain data according to your settings and Apple’s policies; we cannot access or erase those backups.

5. Purchases, Advertising and Analytics

If production App Store purchases are enabled, Apple processes payment and account information; we may receive transaction status but not full card details. The current build has no production StoreKit, advertising or analytics integration. We will update this Policy, store disclosures and consent mechanisms before introducing them.

6. Feedback

“Feedback” opens your external email app. If you send a message, your address, content, attachments and metadata are handled by your email provider and received by us for support.

7. Children and Security

We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data through developer-operated services. Photos and progress remain on-device. Parents should supervise camera and photo use. We rely on iOS sandboxing and reasonable practices, but no system is completely secure.

8. Your UK Data Rights

Where UK data-protection law applies, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Because current gameplay data is not held on our servers, use iOS Settings or delete the App to control local data. Contact us regarding support correspondence.

9. International Transfers and Changes

The current App does not transfer gameplay data to us internationally. An email may be processed by your chosen provider in other countries. We may update this Policy and will give notice where required before material new collection.
