Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Pieceful (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

Pieceful is a painting-style jigsaw puzzle game with built-in theme puzzles, daily puzzles, and puzzles created from photos you select or capture. Features may vary by version, device, region, and App Store availability.

2. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for lawful, non-commercial entertainment on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and applicable App Store rules. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass security, exploit bugs, or use the App to violate law or third-party rights except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise.

3. Your Photos and Local Content

You retain all rights in photos you choose. You confirm that you have the right to use them. Pieceful processes selected or captured photos on your device to create puzzles and does not upload them to a developer-operated server or remote theme service. You are responsible for keeping originals and backups. Deleting the App may remove locally stored puzzles, progress, preferences, and photo-puzzle files.

4. Progress and Content Availability

Puzzle progress, hints, completion records, settings, and created puzzle data are stored locally on your device. If you turn on optional iCloud progress sync, supported progress, settings, completion records, and active built-in or daily puzzle state may sync through Apple iCloud for devices using the same Apple ID. Turning sync off stops further syncing, but cloud snapshots already saved may remain. Photo-puzzle images and photo-puzzle active files are not included in Pieceful’s iCloud progress sync. Theme levels unlock in order within each theme. Some theme packs may require purchase, free claiming, internet access, and a separate resource download before they can be played. Daily puzzles may depend on date, version, and local availability. We may add, change, suspend, or remove content or features where reasonably necessary.

5. Purchases and Advertising

Pieceful may show advertising, including Google AdMob banner ads during gameplay, interstitial ads after eligible puzzle completions, or rewarded ads that offer extra hints when you choose to watch them. A “Remove Ads” in-app purchase may remove eligible ads in the App. When that purchase is active, extra hints may be available without watching rewarded ads. Pieceful may also offer paid theme packs and free theme claims. Some unlocked theme packs require downloading additional resources before play, and downloaded theme resources may be deleted and downloaded again where available. Purchases, refunds, restoration, family-sharing availability, and payment processing are handled by Apple under App Store terms. We may receive transaction status, product identifiers, and transaction identifiers needed to unlock, restore, or validate access to purchased features, but not full payment-card details.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may use Apple services for App Store purchases, purchase validation, iCloud sync, ratings, reviews, device permissions, and system features. It may use Cloudflare-hosted services to provide remote theme manifests, download authorization, and theme resource downloads. It may use Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform for ads, ad consent, and related compliance. Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, software, visual design, built-in images and illustrations, branding, and other content supplied with the App are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not interfere with the App, introduce malicious code, use unauthorized automation, remove notices, abuse ads or purchase flows, or use the App in a way that harms others. We may limit or discontinue access where reasonably necessary to protect the App, users, or legal rights.

9. Disclaimers and Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content, compatibility with every device, or recovery of local data. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, progress, profits, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Changes and Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. These Terms terminate automatically if you materially breach them. We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. We will update the effective date and provide notice where required. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

11. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms do not limit any mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply to you under applicable law. Any dispute relating to the App or these Terms will be handled in accordance with applicable law and by a court or other authority having lawful jurisdiction. Apple is not responsible for support or claims relating to the App except as required by applicable App Store terms.
